Chris Dowding - travel writerI've never thought of myself as adventurous - I'm more of an accidental traveller.

 

If there is an enormous mountain to climb, I'd rather take the train to the top.

Wide oceans I prefer to cross aboard the latest Boeing or Airbus.

Cycling across countries is best left to cyclists.

 

It's enough for me just to cope with the day to day existence in my chosen destination.
